DS2 Docking Station™
The DS2 minimizes customer time required to manage post-purchase responsibilities and reduces liability. The next generation of automated calibration, recordkeeping, diagnostics and recharging, the DS2 Docking Station™ features 2-way communication with a Docking Station Server that manages up to 100 IDSs (instrument docking satellites) through Ethernet or wireless connections. Free-standing, self-contained IDSs, each with multilingual LCD display, status LEDs and an audible alarm, allow plant-wide distribution for autonomous operation, or up to 5 IDSs can be grouped together to share calibration gas cylinders. Stores instrument data in a central database. Significant features include:
- Automatic instrument calibration, record-keeping, diagnostics and recharging
- Autonomous, stand-alone Instrument Docking Stations (IDS)
- Network up to 100 IDS units through Ethernet cable or wireless connection
- Graphical user interface to monitor facility-wide network
- Multilingual display
